Residents from Roselea House enjoyed a day out to Ratho for a trip on the Seagull Trust barge. Here is Tom, the bus drivers diary note from that day:-
Thursday 24th June - Roselea House
Today's outing for Roselea House was a barge trip along the Union Canal ending at Ratho. A picnic lunch was enjoyed by everyone before boarding the barge. During the trip we observed people canoeing, cyclists on the towpath and a holiday barge also passed us along the way.
We then had a lovely drive back, luckily managing to avoid the large queues of traffic in the Ingliston area on what was the opening day of the Royal Highland Show.
